COVID-19: We Are Prepared

Taking into consideration the health or our family, team, patients and those within our community, Kootenay Dental Arts is committed to doing our part and has had the doors to our clinic closed for non essential dental services since March. We have kept some staff on to address emergencies or answer questions and Drs Pentecost and Naqvi have been providing continuing care using tele-dentistry and also volunteering at the West Kootenay Community Emergency Dental Clinic.

The British Columbia College of Dental Surgeons has just released guidelines for our profession to begin seeing patients again in person. We will have a phased re-opening that will span the coming weeks to months with robust safety and screening protocols to ensure your safety and ours. If you are having a dental problem, please call the office and we will guide you over the phone on the next steps. We are not open for drop ins at this time and we have not started re-scheduling cancelled appointments yet. If you have had an appointment cancelled, you will hear from us soon.

It is our promise that we will, as we have always done in the past, go over and above the minimum standards set forth. Please click here to read more about our COVID-19 safety measures and what to expect at your next dental appointment.
